Ayurveda - Dhanwantharam Kuzhambu

One day, I observed my grandmother walking. Despite her old age, she did not complain of joint aches! Walao wui~~~~ R u sure? I then asked my mom why? she said, for years and many generations, my family members have been using a type of Ayurvedic Indian massage oil. Dhanwantharam Kuzhambu

Cant pronounce the name either.. hmmm.. this oil is very easy to apply. Just warm it for a while and apply gently onto ur skin. Do not apply oil on hair! Not hair oil ah!!

Sold in 200 ml bottles, which costs between RM8 to Rm15, it has been a very popular oil being used to massage. Don't mention the smell. I can barely last for 1 hour smelling the oil. Smells like some leftover urine which u can find in toilets. Yucks! but true~~~Look at the benefits it brings to its consumer...

It's sesame oil and ghee based which is frequently used by pregnant women, during pregnancy or after delivery. Traditionally used to prevent joint aches. It has the following ingredients :

Cow's milk, Black sesame oil, Wild mallow, Barley, Indian jujube, Madras gram, Ashwagandha, Spanish woodbine, Wild asparagus, Indian madder, Snapdragon tree, Bael tree, Pink jacaranda, Indian trumpet flower, Headache tree, Desmodium, Pseudarthria, Aerva, Solanum, Puncturevine, Himalayan cedar, Indian sarsaparilla, Rock salt, Fenugreek, Stone flower, Sweet flag, Licorice, Indian gooseberry, Chebulic myrobalan, Beleric myrobalan, Myrrh, Indian dill, Golden gram, Vigna, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Gingelly Oil, ghee, castor oil

It has good absorptive properties, which makes it easily absorbed by our skin and acts directly to the area of massage. U can apply this twice or thrice a week, depending on your condition.

Buy this product in Kottakkal Aryan vaidyasala... Apply and massage for a minimum of 30 to 45 mins thrice a week.. Also scrub your body wid green gram flour later for excellent results... Don't use soap or any bodywAshes as it takes the edge of the medicine away... Cheers
