Mua Zhi

Mua Zhi or wat i used to call, MY FAVOURITE DELICACY.. I've always been a great fan of Mua Zhi since i was a little kitten. Wat is 'mua zhi'?

For all chinese folks, this isn't an uncommmon food. Yet it has been an all time favourite delicacy! It is basically made up from glutinous rice flour being cut n cut n cut into tiny little pieces by jx using an ordinary scissors~ blekk.. after cutting it, the little bits of mua zhi is dipped into grinded groundnuts + sugar, some ppl might jx prefer to add in blended roasted black sesame... there u have it, MUA ZHI~~ huhuhu..

Lets just look deeper into the discovery of 'mua zhi' in various countries. Due to time constrain, i wld like to venture into Japan, where it's knwn as MOCHI~ Apa tu MOCHI?

MOCHI is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and molded into shape. In Japan it is traditionally made in a ceremony called mochitsuki. While also eaten year-round, mochi is a traditional food for the Japanese New Year and is commonly sold and eaten during that time. Mochi is also a prominent snack in Hawaii, Taiwan, Cambodia, and Thailand.

So, wat ya waiting for? give it a try! trust me, it's delicious.. dont eat too much of this as u might gain weight easily.. no harm trying lol~
